Central Coast Community Care Association Limited operates two
aged care facilities;
KILLARNEY COURT at Killarney Vale has 69 units including 2 respite places
LAKE HAVEN COURT at Charmhaven has 40 units including 2 respite places
All residents enjoy the comfort of their own room with an ensuite. The company supplies basic furniture/fittings which vary between our facilities. However all rooms include a bed and mattress, linen, curtains, floor coverings, lighting, light fittings, individually controlled air conditioning, wardrobe and a telephone outlet (to be connected by the residents should they wish).
Our residents are encouraged to make their room as homely for them as possible by bringing in furniture (appropriate for the size of the room) and precious items such as family photos and ornaments.
Our residents are provided with a varied range of activities throughout the week by our dedicated Activities Officers including outings on our bus. Our aim is to keep our residents lifestyle as close to or different from what they were accustomed to prior to entering residential aged care – whichever they would prefer!
CCCCA is committed to keeping our residents as independent and mobile as possible, as well as minimising the discomfort associated with ageing and decreased mobility. That is why we have physiotherapists at all of our sites at least four days a week to assist us in achieving resident goals.
All aged care facilities are rigorously audited to ensure the wellbeing of our elderly. All of our facilities are accredited for the maximum period of three years. Please see our ‘Links’ page and refer to the ‘Australian Aged Care Quality Agency’ to find out more about how we are audited throughout every year to ensure the highest possible standard of care is upheld.
To enter into any Aged Care Facility, individuals must have been assessed by the Central Coast Aged Care Assessment Team and approved for care. Ask us to find out how to go about this.
We have staff dedicated to helping our prospective residents easily understand the process of entering aged care. Call us on 1300 202 290 and we’ll do our best to help you!
