Our Residents/Families

“I arrived at Lake Haven Court just days after it opened. I was so happy to be living in such a lovely place. That was seven years ago and I’m still loving it now. The care I receive is wonderful. The staff are friendly and are like my family”.

“As a resident of nearly two years, I have found all the staff and residents to be very efficient and friendly. Like many other residents, to be able to have the Doctor and Pain Clinic available helps us to cope with our problems. All the activities are very popular to loosen up our tired brains and muscles”.

“On behalf of the Evans family, I wish to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful care and kindness shown to my Mother during her stay at Killarney Court Aged Care Facility.

Last year she was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and given only weeks to live. Following surgery and several periods in hospital, Mum’s health deteriorated rapidly and to such an extent that she required permanent placement at Killarney Court.

I was very impressed with Facility Manager, Danielle Parry and her team. They provided excellent clinical and emotional support and were always willing to discuss medical or personal concerns with Mum, family members, her GP or other visiting health care professionals. The Facility Manager and her team had great skill at calming troubled waters and always found practical solutions to emerging problems.

My Mother and our family had wanted her to remain at Killarney Court for as long as possible rather than being transferred to hospital or a higher needs facility. The Manager and her staff did their utmost to comply with our request even though they faced increasing difficulties with Mum’s mobility, nutrition, pain management and personal care. Throughout her stay Mum was always treated with warmth, understanding, respect and compassion. She spoke fondly and very highly of the staff right to the end.

Please convey my genuine gratitude to the Facility Manager and her staff for their unwavering professionalism and support through a very difficult time for my Mother and our family”.

"Our family are more than happy with Mums placement at Killarney Court. Mum can come and go as she wishes. Family and friends are welcome to visit with no time restrictions. Killarney Court has an open plan eating and recreation area. It is clean, and provides healthy appetising meals. Individual dietary requirements are catered for. Mum loves the happy hour".
